Kids Art Classes – Term 3, 2012

Class Outline (may be subject to change)

Week One - 20th July Free trial, open to all ages Rainbow painting and basic colour theory. 

Week Two - 27th July Monet - painting the water lilies inspired water-colour painting

Week Three -3rd August Indigenous Art/John Olsen – mapping, areal view, hand prints.

Week Four - 10th August Van Gogh – Starry Night/chair. Oil pastel colour and expression.

Week Five – 17^th August Brett Whiteley – Still Life, composition and colour.

Week Six – 24^th August Herni Matisse – Collage with shape and colour.

Week Seven – 31^st August Margaret Preston – Still life with black outline and bold colour

Week Eight – 7^th September Picasso – still life with guitar and using collage and assemblage

Week Nine – 14^th September Cezanne – Drawing a still life of fruit in pastel and end of term.
