Welcome to the first term of Children's Art Classes at Fairfield Community Room, Melbourne with local artist Katie Roberts :)

I hope you can join me for this exciting, educational and fun term of drawing and painting. Every week we will look at inspiring artworks from famous artists and art movements through history and around the world. We will embark on a journey of discovery to create our own works of art and to explore many different mediums and ways to make art. If you want your child to experience an fun, in depth and quality art class this is for you, this is an art class like no other in Melbourne.
Katie is a mum, tutor and practicing artist with a Masters of Fine Art and a Working with Children card, and resident of Fairfield since childhood. She has a friendly, informative and unique approach to teaching art that will give children of any age an enriching experience of art. Students will gain a foundation in understanding materials and a chance to more fully develop their creativity.
Term 3 classes are to be held on Friday afternoons between 3.30 - 5.00pm at the Fairfield Community Room in Melbourne (part of the Fairfield library complex in Station Street Fairfield, Victoria) Students may arrive between 3.30-4.00 but must be picked up promptly at 5pm as the building closes.
Term 3 from 20th July till the 7th September. These dates may change as I need to confirm minimum numbers to know if the classes will go ahead. Term Dates may not match Victoria School dates so please check with tutor. Students may attend on a casual basis but must be fully enrolled upon the first class. The enrollment form is as easy as pie and you dont have to provide credit card details or pay anything till your child starts.
Cost $25per class casual paid in cash at arrival or pick up please.
After filling in the form Katie will contact you with more information and will confirm the class by Wednesday 18th July. Thank you!
All materials will be provided but please bring a smock or long sleeved shirt as children may get messy.
